DPS Group continues to support Hearts Community Coaching

Fife-based DPS Group reveals it will continue to support Heart of Midlothian's Community Coaching & Football Development department.

DPS Group is delighted to announce that it will be continuing its sponsorship of the Heart of Midlothian Community Coaching & Football Development Department’s grassroots coaching programme.

DPS Group has been a key supporter of the club's weekend and holiday programmes as well as the successful football fours festivals which have been held at the Hearts Football Academy and on the pitch at Tynecastle Stadium.

A large number of primary school children have also benefited from DPS Group’s support; receiving funded places on our Easter, summer, and October coaching courses. These youngsters have been identified by the Big Hearts Community Trust’s Kinship Care programme which means the club's official charity can also further support local families.

To enhance the Academy Soccer Centre sessions this season, this new agreement will see the introduction of spot prizes for participants. These will include match tickets, football equipment and other goodies.

Alan White, the club’s Head of Community said, “I would personally like to thank Martin Brownlee and his colleagues at DPS Group for their enthusiasm and support of our grassroots coaching programmes over the last four seasons.

“As well as providing valuable resource to help sustain and develop our sessions, there has always been a willingness from DPS Group to help develop the programme further and add value which and  is what you want from a community supporter.”

DPS Group director Martin Brownlee added, “DPS Group is delighted to continue our support of community football at Hearts. We are keen to see as many kids as possible get the opportunity to play football.

“As a business, DPS Group is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work - which stretches right across the west side of the city.

“We are also pleased to be able to use our support of the coaching programmes to provide free places to Big Hearts for their successful Kinship Care programme."
